Day 6
Day 6 of Juice Cleanse, personal thoughts, recipies and observations.

For breakfast I had my "Liquid Sunshine"
3 Carrots
1/8 Butternut squash
1/2 orange with peel
1/8 pineapple
1/4 mango
1 inch piece of turmeric root
It feels best if I have sweeter juice in the morning rather than at night so the rest of the day today, I am drinking celery, collard greens, lemon, ginger, green apple.
For lunch I had the water of a freshly cracked Thai coconut, with the scortching heat it was incredibly refreshing. I also had a scoop of vitamineral green/raw protein mix... small scoop. I also got some aloe vera and E3 live and am adding a little bit to my juice. The green/protein mix is a HUGE help. No stomach growlies today, I am focused and optimistic today, although I had a moment of blahs yesterday where I was really hating on my job. I took a tablespoon of intestinal cleanse poweder with nopal cactus, slippery elm, zeolite, activated charcoal and bentonite. I feel I should do a salt water flush tomorrow as I haven't had a movement today.
I have been trying to figure out something else to do with my life but still have not been able to break over to another side. I did the Myers-Briggs Personality test a couple of months ago and the result was INFP. Basically artistically enclined humanist. What am I doing crunching numbers in corporate America? Well, fear of economic insecurity has certainly led me in this direction. Who knows, maybe this cleanse will give me fresh perspective on that question as well.
Juicy Queen is doing fantastic as well. She has a bit stronger detox symptoms, was a bit tired yesterday and had stomach craps. Maybe we will start adding a little bit of fiber to our cleanse as well. I believe chia seed powder is best or psyllium husk powder. It really needs to be powder though.
A note on cholesterol, so I really would like to see my cholesterol levels go down. It was 184 or 185 a couple of months ago and has been hovering at those levels for the last 3 years. I am 31 years old and that is just too high. So I am really hoping that this cleanse will help me to get into the normal zone.
Last thought for today, it feels much better doing this cleanse in an open ended way because I intend this to be a transition into different eating habits and lifestyle so there really isn't a thought like: "when this is over, I can have this or that." I am excited about what I will have afterwards but I feel like I want to transition back slowly while educating myself as to what feels best for my body.
