What is Food? This is a secret to most of us. We have lost our beat with nature. Help the world begin to learn what food is. Vote yes to the Right to Know what is in our food, November 6 in California. If you live in another nation or state, call someone in California! Help them do the right thing by our future.
GMOs in Our Foods?
Right now, there are ingredients in what government calls food that were placed there without our permission. These ingredients are called GMOs--Genetically Modified Organisms. Is this "Kosher?" 50 nations say their people have a Right to Know what is in their food. We in the USA also want this Right to Know as decade after decade our health degenerates. Does this have anything to do with GMO ingredients in our foods? We do not know for sure, although many people are now wondering how safe GMO Foods really are. At a minimum, Label GMOs so we can choose for ourselves, rather than be part of a science experiment without our consent.

Non GMO Seeds? GMO Seeds? Many will know the importance of deciding which to use as the Caravan Continues.
The Inspiration of Dr. Harvey M. Wiley--The Pure Food Law of 1906
More than 100 years ago, Dr. Harvey M. Wiley, director of what became the FDA--motivated Congress to pass the Pure Food Law of 1906. This law, had Congress found the courage to enforce it--but was swayed by commercial interests-- would have made the junk foods that have adulterated our youth and the foods we are asking to have GMO Labeled--illegal.
100 years after Dr. Wiley left the year--1912--this is the year to enforce what he had in mind through the people of California--7.5 Million +2 of us--the number it will take if 15 million vote--to pass the RIght to Know Label GMO Foods Ballot Initiative.
Cartoon: Dr. Harvey M. Wiley, under his inspiration, got Congress to pass the Pure Food Law in 1906. The Pure Food Law that would have prevented the obesity and GMO epidemic we have today. Commercial interests. Dr. Wiley left the FDA in 1912, protesting the inability of Congress to apply the Pure Food Law. In this Cartoon, Uncle Sam is talking to Dr Wiley. We take up his original vision on this Journey 100 years later.
Our Caravan journey has already started. We began with raising this awareness: We have the Right to Know what is in our food. If Congress today has called Pizza a Vegetable, then we have the obligation to Grow a Healthier Pizza.
What are we eating in Pizza? GMO Foods need to be labeled. This Caravan journey is teaching the pros and cons of GMO Foods to adults and children through this action: Grow a Healthier Pizza, and making a Healthier Pizza (and Challah...)
For more than 100 years, we have taken a misstep that has led to Uncle Sam in the farm bed with GMO Agriculture. Is it not time for Uncle Sam to Marry "Anti" GMO?

I am not convinced that 7.5 Million of us even know that there are GMOs in our Foods.
The very act of having this measure on the ballot begs the question.
What are GMOs Foods? Is Our food from a farm or a lab?
Where are we headed?
Dr. Harvey M Wiley, founder of the FDA, wanted to take us in the direction of Pure Food, unadulterated. Alfred W. McCann (1919), his ally of Dr. Wiley said, the place to begin the journey toward Pure Food was in In the schools. He said we could not look to Congress too soon to grapple with the need.
The People of California can now be the leaders, and the world is looking to us to educate ourselves about GMO Foods.
What is in our "Food?" Let us have choice to decide how many GMO Foods we want to eat.

World War One was a time in our history when many around the world got a taste of the anguish of war. They did all as Peacemakers, to do all they could. Among these Peacemakers were Romain Rolland, a Nobel Peace Prize Winner.

Some Wonder if We Can Win at the Ballot Box. I Say we Have Already Won.
I am walking today because of conventional 20th century medicine. I have looked into the eyes of a caring Medical Surgeon and given him a love poem for his wife. I once was stuck in bed for 18 months unable to spread my legs apart more than 1/4 inch. I was in a rest home when I was 24 with the stench of death and body bags around me.
I would likely be dead today had it not been for the amazing gifts of Science and her heroic measures that gave me a second chance to learn how to live on this most beautiful earth I call the Enchanted Garden; and yet, had it not been for men liked Rolland, McCann, Dr. Bernard Jensen, Edmond Bordeaux Szekely; for the new generation of "Beet Keepers" such as David Bronner, David Murphy, Pamm Larry, and so many other women who carry the torch as Freedom Health Crusaders, I could not do what I do today.
In my 20's I walked out of hip surgeries numbers of times, my belief in natural healing was so strong. I am 64 now. I have witnessed many miracles inside my own body through the simple awareness that Food Is Medicine and all Nature's Original Technology applied is our fate. We are not here to go down to the misstep of Biotech Technology applied to agriculture and food.
