SAN DIEGO -- If a primary election for San Diego Mayor was held on Thursday, three of the candidates would have the potential to advance to a general election in November, but only two will, according to the latest exclusive 10News Poll results.

On Thursday, City Council Member Carl DeMaio would get 31% of the vote, Congressman Bob Filner would receive 28%, and State Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher would get 23%.

Robert Francis Kennedy said the above quote. I heard Bob Filner remind me of this quote. Bob Filner has had a long history of doing good. It is good to see him bring up his association with the Kennedy family. We need that kind of positive energy in San Diego right now.

THE "GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA" WORKSHOP
In the "Grow a Healthier Pizza" Workshop, you will plant your Dream. Legend says Prophet Noah may have put ancient KAMUT® khorasan grains on the Ark for these challenging times. Ancient wheat become our teacher as we grow it and learn to turn it into a healthier pizza. In this workshop you will work with our harvest of Baker Creek Non GMO Tomatoes that were planted with the intent of growing our own San Marzano pizza topping. We will look at the power in heirloom seeds as sacred seeds to plant our intentions. Many more people want to grow food now; this is a trend. Please use heirloom seeds, Non GMO, to ensure our future. "Grow a Healthier Pizza!" Looks what Congress had in mind when it said that "Pizza is a vegetable! in Fall 2011. We can look at the role we can each play to influence Congress and the White House through growing some of our own food and being part of a "Wellness Spring."
We will look at the next steps we can take to win the Right to Know Ballot Initiative through teaching others about Labeling GMOs at the CA ballot box November 6, 2012. We will look at the Pros and Cons of GMO agriculture and the trend toward Urban Agriculture as a way to free us from our current personal and national Food Emergency.
