Hi All,
Just a note of thanks and asking for some good thoughts sent my way.
In the middle of this powerful Earth Day week, I am going up to Hamilton High School in L.A. to support Science Teacher, Eva Becker. My niece Eva doing a powerful Medical Fair that is drawing media attention and support from major hospitals.
I will be launching the Growing a Healthier Pizza Project, that I will continue here through supporting the Wild Willow event April 28, and at other opportunities
during our 15 days of Cultivating Food Justice that I see have begin with Diane Moss's Tribute to Cheves April 21.

Yesterday at EarthFair, I got some pointers from Mel Lions, who is the elder esteemed voice behind the incredibly successful Wild Willow Education Center project. Kudus to Mel, Misha, Richard Winkler, and so many who have helped.
Mel is going to get me some of Barry Logan's Sourdough starter when i go to the Wild Willow event April 28 so I can take the next step with actually learning how to make a pizza!!!
David Pearl, who is showing his film Polyculture, is one of our housemates here at the Echanted Garden Intentional Community and is showing his film at Wild Willow. This film is not to be missed.
I do not know anything yet about making a pizza, but I do know how to grow Kamut Khorasan wheat, and a little bit, tomatoes.
I want to give to our community the Label GMOs San Marzana Tomato seeds that I got from Chris Fischer of the Baker Creek Rare Seed Company.

I want to tell the story of this ancient wheat Kamut, and also my plan to help San DIego see Arundo Donax, The Gian Reed, not as an enemy invasive plant, but a hero when we harvest this marvelous crop--as Misha also knows. Right now, Arundo is one of the biggest moneymakers for Monsanto. The landfill calls it trash, and the Fire Prevention Bureau (good people) were recommending Roundup herbicide as the way to handle it. I am aiming to shift this city policy with your help. Please come and hear my plan.

Sunday, April 22- Balboa Park, Join Leslie to distribute Flyers for the Upcoming Food Justice Events and help sign up 50,000 for the Label GMOs CA ballot initiative. Meet in Section One, #107 to pick up your petitions and get trained to help collect signatures on the last day of signature gathering. We only need 2 more signatures to qualify the measure for the ballot, Will you sign please? Leslie will read a piece from George Washington Carver on Grass.
Monday, April 23, 2012--World Beat Center-- Leslie will present an award of service to Makeda Dread Cheatom at the world Famous Ethnobiotony Garden at the World Beat Center. The garden is scheduled to be bulldozed on April 23, by Park and Rec who missed hearing the Dalai Lama's recent talk about San Diego as the Nation's Finest City of Compassion.
No plant shall be harmed, says Your Enchanted Gardener. Join us Monday morning at 8 am for an early morning meditation and to lay plans for the morning Dialogue.
Wednesday, April 25, 2012--"Uncle Leslie" Will participate in the Medical Fair at Hamilton High School, Los Angeles on a Pizza Pilgrimage to Launch "Get Enlightened! Grow a Healthier Pizza. Leslie will grind Kamut organic grains supplied by Kamut International, plant Non GMO San Marzano Tomato Seeds with the Youth,
and eat organic cheese and Organic Chocolate Milk, gifts from Horizon Organic.
Thursday, April 26, Leslie Returns to SDSU for the e3's fabulous day of Greenfest. Don't miss this great event. Special awards to students of organic chocolate milk from Horizon Organics and Organic Cheese Sticks!
Saturday, April 28, SDSU and Wild Willow Farm Event-- Leslie will support David Pearl, Enchanted Garden Intentional Community Housemate, in his coming out showing of "Polyculture,' David's inspired masterful story telling project of Cleveland. David is on the scene in San Diego now.
Leslie will present former Leaning Tower Pizza expert Mel Lyons with a supply of Kamut organic wheat as a gift from Bob Quinn of Kamut International. May Kamut Pizza be the new rage in San Diego Pizza.
Sunday, April 29, 11 am-12 Noon. You are invited to the Hillcrest Farmers' Market at the DMV for a special Tour and Gleaning session at 2 pm. Where to find Organic Food at the Hillcrest FM.
Sunday April 29, 5 PM-9 PM The Arundo Tribe Blessing Ceremony and Kamut Wheat initiation, Where Enchanted Garden Intentional Community. call for directions, near SDSU.
