Let's support each other through a 30 day juice fast?
I am starting a 30 day juice fast tomorrow in the hopes of overcoming acne, binge eating, excess weight, depression and fear of loose skin from weight loss.

I'm female and in my mid 20's with a birthday coming up at the end of October. I am starting a 30 day juice fast tomorrow in the hopes of overcoming acne, binge eating, excess weight, depression and fear of loose skin from weight loss. Let me give you a bit more of my story, if you can relate then maybe you would like to join me on a juice fast and we can help support each other?? =)
Ok, so I started dieting when I was 12 years old and lost the little bit of excess weight that I had over the course of 3 years. I felt great, life was looking up! However, every time I went through any stressful event in life I would turn to food for comfort, fun, reward and all those other things that food is not supposed to be! This addiction to food started a string of yo-yo diets which started and ended succesfully, however, they strengthened the dysfunctional relationship I already had with food.
Now, I have lost and gained the same 5-50kg's 3 times over and I am a little concerned about having loose skin because the first time I lost 50kg (almost HALF my body weight) I did have a slight problem with loose skin. This time around I have to lose about 30kg and I am terrified of loose skin...I figure that I can help prevent my skin loosening any more by juice fasting which will hopefully provide my body with the nutrients it needs to repair my skin, and help me lose weight at the same time.
My skin (on my face) has never been ideal but over the last few months it has dramtically worsened! I'm hoping that juice fasting will detoxify my body, help me lose weight, clear up my skin, teach me to draw on other things apart from food to cope with life and uncomfortable emotions, improve my pessimistic outlook on life (depression) and prevent loose skin as I lose weight.
I chose to do this juice fast now (before my birthday) as a little bit of a present to myself. For as long as I can remember I have been trying to fit into a box to please everyone else but MYSELF! Most of the time, the people I was trying to please never noticed my efforts anyway so now I really want to start living for myself. I feel like everything inside me feels 'messy' and that juice fasting will clarify things for me and help me inside and out.
So...if any of this resonates with you and you would like to join me, follow me, or support me on this journey, I would really love that! It's a hard thing to do and I think it would be impossible without support - that is why I'm here! I would like to post a message everyday detailing my symptoms throughout out the journey, and I'm really excited to help myself (and hopefully other people) through this journey. Hopefully, it will be the start of a better life for me!
