Stainless steel water filter bottles
from my friends JOEY MENSELSOHN
and MARC WOLLMAN

are helping the relief effort in Haiti.

Various bottles featured on the

The Ec2o stainless steel water bottle can take out 99.9 % of the chlorine and 65% or more of the fluorine in water. It can also remove giardia and bacteria from contaminated stream water. I have personally drank a cup of clean filtered water from
one of these Echo 2 bottles that had potting soil in it. The water
came out clear and clean. It has a cartridge good for
100 gallons of water, and can be replaced. I have replaced the filter
twice since I owned it, about every six months. It is good for 100
gallons and is a great savings over using plastic bottles.

HISTORY OF THE CONNECTION

The inspiration for hooking up the EcoUsable water bottles
came New Year's day. I was visiting my friend VICKIE BUTCHER
at her home for a Kawannzaa celebration.

Vickie is the Executive Director for WATER FOR CHILDREN AFRICA.
She visits yearly various villages in need of water
and creates water projects, including digging wells.
We both thought that hooking her up with Joey Mendelsohn
and Marc Wollman of EcoUsable was a natural.

We made a Youtube that night and I put it on the web.

Fast forward to the earthquake in Haiti.
Fast forward to February 6.
There was a SUPER RUN 5 and 10K here in San Diego.
Water for Children Africa was one of the recipients of funds
from the race.

I brought some of the EcoUsable Water filter bottles for her table.

I was delighted to see that she had followed up with this
important connection. There were already EcoUsable water
bottles on the Water for Africa table when I arrived.

Joey and Marc had donated EcoUsable Water filter bottles
to Vickie to help raise funds that will go
to help the disaster in Haiti.

Vickie is friends with DR. CAROLLE JEAN MURAT who has
been serving Haiti for more than 20 years.

We made another YouTube that I am uploading here.



It is my understanding that Dr. Carolle has a hospital in Haiti
and on the ground connections.
