Day 15
Fasting in Crisis
Date: 6/6/2011 11:42:08 AM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 1946 times Almost forgot what day it was...
The weekend was good, healthwise. Good energy levels, got a lot done. Good eliminations. Cold is gone. Skin is looking great and my face is losing that "muddy" look. My face, arms, back and legs are thinning out, as well as my stomach. My eyes are very clear and bright and the mental clarity is great.
Had a few stresses over the weekend and was so glad I was fasting to better handle them. My aunt passed away on Friday. She had cancer which spread to her spine. She was undergoing radiation and then chemo and wound up having a heart attack during one of her treatments. It was very sudden... A great loss that has left a family in wonder and deep grief. Life is so short...
Fasting during crisis is ideal. I can see why so many people in Biblical times took to fasting during stressful events. It's also part of the natural design. How many of us don't feel like eating when dealing with turmoil, with the loss of a loved one? Why not just let the body do what it needs to in order handle stress and create better mental stability?
Best of health to those who are reading and make sure to keep in touch with those you love, or you may just lose the opportunity altogether...
