One of those days when two socks is a blessing

It is one of those moments when just finding
both of my two warm socks seems a blessing.
They were both on the line drying.
I brought in all the clothes.
One pair of pants is still damp.
The alfalfa I have been growing in the main pot
is not doing well.
There is one little spot where it seems to be growing
O.K., but a lot of it is fallen over and lacking life force.
I do not know why.
Maybe I do not know the growing conditions
for alfalfa.
Other dreams dying today.
One pretty big.
The Pacific Symposium the way I did it.
Thought for a moment I was being given a reprieve,
but no, just a little table in the downstairs hall.
I do not think I can do too much with that.
It feels sad.
I feel levels of persistent discomfort over
the strength I am showing now regarding
managing a difficult relationship at the house.
It is permeating other aspects of my life.
I did some little things today.
Got rid of two pieces of holdover clutter
that I one time were valuables.
Where does the line end with
the shift that I am going through,
where things once valued are now giveaways
or trash?
I want to rest now.
I am weary.
I Godsent call came through while I was out mailing
a couple letters.
It lifted my spirit.
Need to refocus on the needed housemate.
My 63 year old self wants to be O.K. doing a few things
and feeling O.K only doing a few things.
