I am doing this as a healing experience
at a time when I need to go deep into my
creative process.
I have a lot more films that make more sense.
This combines the new Alfalfa theme with the Grass
growing theme, and how fast can a dream grow?

I am learning how Imovie works.
This second 3 minute version taught me how
to work with the sound.
I learned how to adjust the sound of my voice
and lower the music. I was also asked to
take it from five minutes to three.
I realize this three minute piece is all over the map.
I would like to make a statement about
organic alfalfa having an uprising,
and people returning to Nature's Original Technology.
Making this was a healing experience.

suggested I cut the video below down to
three minutes....This is what came out....
looks like a little work. but it can be done. If you have the money Adobe premiere elements is pretty intuitive and pretty cheap.
I don't use a mac, Final Cut Express is very popular, too.
Michael Bastos might know a good free editor for the apple crowd.

You know I take film very seriously and since you asked here is how I'd change this very good work.
Get more control of your audio. The music is wonderful but overpowers your words and message. Does your software package have at least two tracks. If yours mixes music automatically that is bad. You have to gain volume level controls so you can fade or raise individual audio files on separate tracks.
I'm filmic from way back and appreciate ambient messaging and ease of pace but in the last year I have been adapting to the internet style, or the way people are accustomed to receive information these days. People are used to 3 minutes or less. My feeling is that has happened as the size of the screen gets smaller, that pkus the proportion of the screen alloted to a video.
No matter.
Your video is two videos in one. If I was making it, I'd separate that ambient second half and make it into to it's own statement of quiet and peace. I think the first part is a tremendous teaching tool and showcases your skills.
That's about it when you want me to, I'll post it to drumbeat and EAT. or you can do it go to the page, hit upload video and it will upload. They don't post immediately because I do it manually, behind the scenes. Either way.

THESE ARE OUR AIMS
1-To support mobilization of one Farmers’ Market in our local area, the Hillcrest Farmers’ Market in San Diego. To continue to work with local organic farmers and help them sell more of their produce.
2-To continue to develop a 1/3 acre parcel of land near San Diego State College named the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community Growing Grounds where those who live here and who live around the world may study our process of learning how to keep the beat with nature through learning to live together cooperatively as a household that seeks to live in harmony with the earth. The motto of the house will be Keep The Beet. Through growing a simple beet in a pot, we can regain our beat with nature. Not all in the house garden. Some like to prepare food. Others help with other jobs, or rent. The land, as of January 2010 is being refinanced. A Trust to hold the land is being explored. The Seed Dream would be to leave a museum and park for future generations to learn from this experiment in cooperative living that has been going on since the early 1970′s. The intent is that what we learn here can help others, and Washington, understand and adapt to some of the shifts being asked of all of us now.
3- To develop relationships with those who influence Washington and government. A vast coalition across all political, religious, and philosophical lines has now formed. Mainstream media needs to be reached through bloggers filling the gap where journalism once told all points of view. Elected leaders need to be encouraged to follow the principles expressed in the song “America The Beautiful.”
4- We see the world as we know it now coming to an end. A Shift has already happened. It is for each of us to adapt to the earth and relearn the laws of nature, rather than attempt to further adapt nature to our ways. The source of our economic and health crisis is that we have lost our beat with nature. We can regain the beet through becoming once again a nation of gardeners who live in a world of gardeners. One Pot+One person=You are a Gardener. Start to grow your own food now.
