Met a Fascinating Artist, Mario Torrero

I met a fascinating man last night
an artist named Mario Torrero.
It was Cara Cadawalader's birthday
and the event was at his home.
There was a lot of history in the house.
He said he had lived there forever.
Today I looked on his website.
He also has done work in many places.
I spent much of my day on the internet.
That is not unusual.
The pieces of the event I am planning to
do seem to be in coherence right now.
Maybe it is the combination of leaving my work
to go to the party at his home, some smoke in the air,
the late night away of home, and too many pieces
that do not seem to fit together right now.
There does not seem much foundation underneath
were I am standing today.

I think my head is just tired.
My soul and mind and body are out of sync.
Is it me or the world that is in pieces right now,
or both of us?
