Your Enchanted Gardener at the Natural Product Expo West
in March 2010. We were planting Seed Dreams for the future
success of Eden Foods.
My friends in Washington, about 100 men and women
in the Senate, are out to decontaminate our Food Safety system
after the election. They will likely pass s.510 and s.3767
Food Safety laws one version or another.
They would like to pass new Rules and Regs
to give the FDA more power. At the same time
The FDA gives their stamp of approval on things
that are simply not good for us.
What FDA calls healthy makes no sense
from a simple beets point of view.
An entire national conversation needs to take place
on Food Safety. I cannot see turning the decisions
over what is and what is not good for us to the Senators
nor to the FDA. Both well intended bodies simply need
to be educated before they vote into law anything
that may determine how or what people are allowed
to eat, or what systems are approved or not approved
when we each seek medical help.
I for one favor food as medicine
and the herbs of the field that have been
our staples for thousands of years.
Today, many of the things that ought to be labeled
as dangerous are FDA approved.
Take for example the BPA laden can.
Yale scientists named BPA as bad for pregnant women.
Canada has outlawed BPA. Not us.
Our legislators likely drink unknowingly from
plastic bottles with BPA or Coke cans lined
with BPA and Aspartame.
The FDA says it's O.K.
ENTER EDEN FOODS
Eventually, The FDA will catch up with visionary Michael Potter
of Eden Foods. He invested resources to create a BPA free can
as early as 1999. His company distributes an array of other products
approved by Mother Earth herself. Michael understands the power of soil.
He knows the meaning not only of organic but farming practices called Biodynamic, an even more profound system of health
He goes way beyond looking to the USDA,
FDA or Health and Human Services to tell him what
is good for health.
I want to see Michael Potter's contribution
to humanity rewarded.

Enchanted Garden Installation at the Pacific Symposium 2010,
November 4-7, 2010.
If I have my druthers, you will likely find some of these Eden
Foods at a picnic on the public beach Saturday
afternoon near the Bay outside the Catamaran Hotel.
We all need to touch, taste, and get a feel for Real Food
Safety giants like Michael Potter, who because they
care for the future of children and all who eat, do the right thing.
EATING FROM A CAN
I as many of us live a life on the run, but after viewing
"Addicted to Plastic" I gave up eating from the can. That was until I spent time
with Michael Potter at the Natural Product Expo West 2010.
I was happy to hear that Eden Foods had gone the distance
to make a BPA free can. Very few companies, either
organic, natural, or conventional take BPA into account.
BPA lines most cans as well as plastic bottles.

FOODS FOR HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL TEENS
Eden Foods needs to be in very school in the country.
They need to be in the vending machines down at
the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine,
that graduates many out of the box practitioners.
A generation ago, these graduates
would have been drawn to M.D. programs.
Now they look toward integrative medicine
whose future will tout both food as medicine
as well as growing some of your own food
on their very own American Soil.
At the Natural Product Expo West,
lovely Sue Ann Becker, now Mrs Potter, loaded me up
with many Eden product delights.
A day later, I visited the students in Ms. Eva Becker's science
class at Hamilton High School. They had a ball.
In her wisdom, my niece Eva called
that day a party. Kids were opening up cans of chile,
hitting them on bunsen burners, and feasting
on healthy organic soy milk, and various other
Eden Food Snacks. We had a real ball. The
kid's nutrition was all the better for it.

So stop on by The Enchanted Garden Installation
at the Pacific Symposium around noon on Saturday
November 6. We will plant some dreams
and then all together go out to the Bay in front of the Catamaran
during the Conference break. We will carry some Eden Foods
down to the Bay water front to delight in some of the goodies
that Michael and Sue Potter will have sent.
VENDING MACHINE ITEMS
Sue tells me that many students, here at Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine PCOM, the school that delivers
us the Pacific Symposium each year,
and other schools would not pay $2.50 for a snack
from a vending machine. It is time to realize that
companies such as Eden Foods, are making edibles
that have the price of the doctor bill included.
Today, we spend too little money on food up front
and then pay the dentist or surgeon on the bottom end,
so to speak.
FDA PROGRAM OF FOOD SAFETY
Other the other hand, my allies at the FDA are under the presumption
that junk food has no relationship to how clear our mind
or how hyper our kids.
They imagine, based on the Risk Assessment Science
they honor that the best approach to a tummy ache
is an FDA approved drug.
GRATEFULLY THE WORD IS GETTING OUT
Gratefully, through your support of our year long

Overview
Bisphenol A (BPA) is an industrial chemical that has been present in many hard plastic bottles and metal-based food and beverage cans since the 1960s.
Studies employing standardized toxicity tests have thus far supported the safety of current low levels of human exposure to BPA. However, on the basis of results from recent studies using novel approaches to test for subtle effects, both the National Toxicology Program at the National Institutes of Health and FDA have some concern about the potential effects of BPA on the brain, behavior, and prostate gland in fetuses, infants, and young children. In cooperation with the National Toxicology Program, FDA’s National Center for Toxicological Research is carrying out in-depth studies to answer key questions and clarify uncertainties about the risks of BPA.
FDA is also supporting recommendations from the Department of Health and Human Services for infant feeding and food preparation to reduce exposure to BPA.
FDA is not recommending that families change the use of infant formula or foods, as the benefit of a stable source of good nutrition outweighs the potential risk from BPA exposure.

OTTAWA — Canada has declared bisphenol A a toxic chemical, prompting calls for far-reaching curbs on the industrial chemical that is used in everything from the linings of aluminum cans to coatings on electronic till receipts.
Canada added the compound, known as BPA, to a list of substances deemed potentially harmful to health or the environment in a notice published in the Canada Gazette on Wednesday.

MY FRIEND MARK VICTOR HANSEN
In 1997, "Chicken Soup for the Soup" was a pipe dream
of two men, Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. I knew
both of them for years by that time. A few years later,
I was feeling depressed and forelorn when I entered an
evening event at what became the Book Expo America show.
The event was at the Biltmore, an old hotel with lots of Angel
motifs in the City of Angels where I was born in 1947 not
far from the Biltmore. I went into the room without my camera,
but Mark Victor Hansen got be so excited that I left
went out to the Persian Street Garage, passing a number of homeless,
and returned with my camera. I began to take photos wihtout
asking. Mark came up to me and said, "My photographer did
not show up. How much are those photos going to cost me?"
I needed $200.00 to fulfill a $1200.00 Seed dream for that day.
The other $1000.00 came in the night before when Al Jacobson,
the original founder of Garden of Eatin, became a Beet Keeper
and wanted to support the Beet Keepers non profit ministry.
Mark said "yes" to my $200.00 request. I took many photos that night. It began my relationship with HCI. On that night I said they would first
publish some of my professional quality work.
Two days later, I went to a stream at the Taylors Herb Garden
in Vista. I set up an Altar. I laughed and played with the future
destiny of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series. To date the
series has sold millions of books and aims to sell billions.
The Plant Your Dream work I do is also called Root Your Dream
now in honor of Keep The Beet Media Star, the World's FIrst
Talking Beet Plant, the U.S. Czarina of Foods and future consultant
to the USDA Codex Alimenetarius Commission. IT is the Codex
that is behind Food Safety laws and Food Rules that are
now being genetically engineered and manipulated
through the U.S. Senate as laws s. 510-s.#767 or whatever
name they finally are called before they pass, unless about
you and everyone you know signs the petition called

AFTER THE TEARDOWN
After we carefully put every item in vehicles to transport
back to the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community,
we stop by the Catamaran Bar for a toast.
At 7 pm (approximate)
you are invited to join in on a special toast with Stone Brewery brew in the
bar at the Catamaran. This is the one time a year I drink beer
and my beer of choice is always Stone's Arrogant Bastard. A little
truth telling is always good for someone who aspires to leave
this world known to future ages as one of Humanity's Servants
who planted Dreams to bring in 1000 years of Peace.
After about 30 minutes in the bar,
we leave for the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community,
Here we meticulously unload the Enchanted Garden Mobile,
put Keep The Beet Media Star and other plants back in the
garden bed, return the EG Mobile to normalcy, and then
have a feast provided by some of our chefs.

We will likely have resident Jesse Alm and other surprise
guests share music and revalry Sunday night a the Enchanted Garden.
