The third phase of the "Seven Masters, One Path" meditation by John Selby is a deep contemplation on acceptance that I find supportive. (The first two phases are "watching the breath" and "quieting the mind".)

June 13, 2010 -
I had an experience today (June 13th, 2010) that reawakened me to the truth of my need to feel clarity as my Inner Authority. According to my particular Human Design my Emotional Center is a very large part of my Inner Authority. Although knowing my feelings is essential the actual awareness of them and acknowledging them is sometimes a real process for me to go through. Feeling emotional clarity requires patience as emotions come in waves with both highs and lows and it takes time for the wave to run its course.
I live in a household with several other individuals all of whom are unrelated by any blood family ties. I came to this household over three years ago for the potential of community living. Community is also in my Design. I have community relating channels defined! I have generated the charts of some of the house mates and so far I do not see these community channels fully defined in these other Designs. It is so interesting to me that at least a couple of these housemates who have made all kinds of declarations about wanting to live in community here do not have the Human Design for community!
I found a page on the origin of Human Design I thought may be of interest to people:
"There were two predictions that came with this (Human Design) knowledge in 1987 that at the time were contrary to established scientific paradigms. The first was that the programming agent of the universe are the trillions of subatomic particles known as neutrinos, which pass through matter all the time, and according to Human Design interact directly with the genomes in DNA. At the time that was impossible as neutrinos were thought to have zero mass. In 1997 scientists discovered that neutrinos do have mass. The second prediction has yet to be found by science. It is an explanation of how gravity works, which is one of the major remaining mysteries of science today. The answer is where nobody is looking yet: the existence of magnetic monopoles. All magnets known to science have North and South poles, which attract each other and repel similar poles. Since the 1920’s the concept of a magnetic pole that attracts everything has been proposed but never found, perhaps because nobody knew where to look or how to recognize one. According to ‘The Voice’, scientists will discover the magnetic monopole as the cause of gravity."[1]

June 1st, 2016 -
Now, virtually six full years later(!), in addition to the truly awesome Human Design Revelation I am very blessed to having the "Teachings of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov" in my daily life! I subscribe to the "Thought of the day" and it never ceases to nourish my spirit and my soul. I am all grateful!
Here's "The Thought" for today:
"It is important the way things begin, how you make the first gesture or take the first step, what state of mind you are in and what your intentions are. The results you reap throughout your life – the successes or the failures – will depend on how things began. You are surprised: how can a small detail determine a whole chain of circumstances? Just observe yourself. If you start moving when you’re in an agitated state, you unleash chaotic forces. And if you go to work or visit someone in this state, the closer you get to your destination the more agitated you become: you’ll make clumsy gestures, speak carelessly, and then there’ll be a lot of damage to repair, assuming it is possible to repair! If, however, you take the first step in a state of peace and harmony, the further you go the more you’ll feel yourself finding the right attitude and saying the right words. Whatever you do, always be sure to begin well."[3]
I'm finally learning the lessons of "moving" in an agitated state! (Fortunately I really am learning! ; ~ ) Human Design has certainly prepared me for this learning. Then there is the "Gene Keys" which I consider as the "Graduate Course" of Human Design. It is the Gene Keys which give tremendous extension to the 64 Human Design Gates (as well as to the very brief references to the I Ching). The seven Gates/Gene Keys located in the Solar Plexus Center give most obvious underscoring in his regards as the Solar Plexus Center is epi-center for our emotional being! Here is where the emotional waves begin and therefore this is the center of potential emotional awareness and through the awareness - potential awareness of spirit! If you contemplate upon the truth of this along with the fact that your thought is creative I'm sure that you'll better understand why it is said that: "what state of mind you are in and what your intentions are" is so important.
