Day Seven
A personal journey to health and healing thorugh water fasting
Date: 6/2/2010 2:59:48 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1159 times Feeling the effects of a healing crises today. No hunger pangs, but I am producing enough stomach acid to digest an entire cow. The interesting thing is, I am chronically low on stomach acid, to the point that I really can't digest nuts, and corn and other stuff. I gradually started to lose production over the years and didn't even realize it until last year. I haven't felt this kinda hydrochloric acid burn since I can remember. Funny how healing can be so God-awful.
Last night I realized something else rather significant. Was mulling over how I could have lost 16lbs, when my pants are only a little looser. Then it hit me. I placed my hand on my side where a large hard, fibroid tumor had been and I could barely feel it! Yes, it's still there, but much smaller! The pain and pressure in my side is also much reduced. I am beginning to think my body is using up this stuff as fuel first, before hitting the fanny storage compartment. Works for me. I want healing throughout my body, not just a detox of my tissues.
Had a wonderful, soothing spa bath last night, after my 20 min elliptical trainer walk. I used 1 cup Dead Sea Salt and 1 Tbs ascorbic acid powder to a tub full of hot water. The ascorbic acid (vitamin C) naturally nutralizes chlorine, so you don't absorb it into your skin while bathing. However, the Dead Sea Salt is one of the greatest things you can have absorb into your skin! The bath remineralizes your skin, makes it soft, young, and helps to balance any mineral deficiences in your body. Since loss of potassium causes heart beat irregularities, and drinking water can cause you to lose potassium, I regularly use Dead Sea Salts while fasting.
On a more scientific note, today marked a whole new level of detox. That is, to be utterly candid, my urine stank so much it would knock over a horse. I can only suppose that something pretty awful got washed out today. I do hope this is temporary!
More later...
UPDATE: Having an emotional meltdown. Sobbing, wailing, confused, conflicted. Must be full-blown PMS, on a fasting steriod.
