Day 1 - Juice 1 of 1 - Fun (not) with leaves...

I use the Solostar to make my juice, and were told that the juice can be kept for a couple of hours before drinking it.
My first test for this was lunchtime, I can report that the juice tasted the same as last night - maybe just a bit cold of being in the fridge all the time, the water I added didnt help that much to bring the temp down.
The bottle I kept it in, was off course filled to the brim to make sure there is the minimum amount of air to prevent oxidation.
The plan is to juice mainly vegetables, no fruit, except for a maybe a slice of apple here and there. So today I had Celery, cucumber and a dash of carrot, mixed with about 30% water. I like the taste of the celery, and it was surely easy to juice.
Tonight I juiced a red pepper (capsicum), 1/2 cucumber and a whole lettuce.... what a difficult thing to juice, I thought the lettuce would be easy, but even if you roll up the leaves its to big for the cube. If you tear them into pieces its just little pieces of leaves everywhere... well at least I had some fun... LOL
Tasted not too bad, the color was horrible though, brownish- reddish.
One thing I didnt gave up entirely is coffee, I just didnt look forward to that headache. So I had one cup of black, without sugar coffee today, and think I will have one tomorrow as well.
