Howdy! Keep the Beet here,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant.
Leslie was walking around his room cussing this morning.
I had to give him a pep talk.
We are having the upcoming 2010 Cultivating Food Justice
Conference in just a couple weeks April 24-25, 2010
at San Diego State University.
Leslie has asked me to step up to the plate and
give the Youth at the Organizing Committee some
of my expert PR Coaching.
There are a number of publications in town
that would have been enhanced with cover stories
about this very exciting Free Two-Day Conference
that is totally Historic!!!! Paj Patel, one of my favorite
authors--"Stuffed and Starved" and "The Value of Nothing
is the keynote on Saturday at 2 PM.
Sunday, Barry Logan, of the La Milpa Organic Farm Community,
is the other keynote.

BRONNER's FAIR TRADE MAGIC SOAPS
At the recent Natural Product Expo West
one of the highlights for me, your favorite beet,
was hanging out at the Bronner's Magic Soap Booth.
Leslie was playing with some kids.
He did some Plant Your Dream interviews I want
him to get up here.
Have you any idea the difference between

Wow! I had a real education.
Let me tell you, most soap's are not soaps.
They are detergents. I Never knew.
No one on the farm every told me how degenerate
soap has become.
In any case, The Bronner Magic Soaps are the real deal.
Dr. Emmanuel Bronner and Leslie use to cross paths
over the years. Emmanuael, the Essene All-in-One
original soap maker of the family, was an icon
of public service. His original pepperment soap is still
classic, and sons Ralph and the grandkids of Essene Rabbi
Emmanuel are definitely a chp of the old soap block.
The youngin Bronners are carrying on the family tradition
of social service and doing public good.
Every time you soap with with Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap,
the profits are going out into the world to help somebody
that needs help live better.
Ralph, one of the sons of Emmanuel, has supported many
good causes over the years, including the Beet Keepers.
When I went to the desert over Passover and Easter,
I was really into my Prophet motive.
Like Job the Prophet, I prayed for all my friends,
including Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap.
I wanted Leslie to take some more photos but he
ran out of battery power before we left Indian Cove.
I did have him take a couple photos of my favorite soap.
Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap has definitely won my heart.
Now that I think of it, I have to say,
there Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap is the Official Soap
for The Great Earth Clean UP.
So wash up, and don't cuss too much,
and keep the beet
before I have to wash your mouth out
