Results of my 24-Hour Water Fast
Meh... not bad at all!
Date: 3/13/2010 3:00:07 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 3502 times I have to say, I also feel pretty darn good having done it. No headaches, no digestive trouble. 24 hours is not that extreme, and I do feel like by body was doing good things to itself during that process.
Case in point.... you know how your urine appears very clear sometimes if you are drinking a lot of water? Like the water is just passing right through? Well, during my 24-hour water fast, I drank a boatload of water, and was in the bathroom constantly as you’d expect. But you know what? After about 10 hours, my urine was quite yellow, and it seemed to get more so as the hours wore on, and even this morning as well. This tells me that my fast worked and that there were toxins and things being squeezed out of my body.
It’s like squeezing a sponge... you get the last bits out only after all the easy stuff comes out, and only if you squeeze hard. That’s what my fast felt like... squeezing a sponge hard.
It felt ok, and I can see doing it again once or twice a month as a regular cleansing regimen.
I’ll blog more later about the mental acuity part of it... I do feel there was something there, but no time to discuss... that is a heavier topic ;-)
