parasite fast: day 5
Feel great today. Mild detox symptoms. Lots of detoxing from the tongue. High energy--my manic states are simply lots of energy and confidence. I listed the symptoms I had that caused me to fast. Circles under my eyes are disappearing.

Okay, here is the list of symptoms that I was having that made me think I had parasites:
3 inch long white, flat worm in my stool (good sign, huh?)
sore hip bones for about 6 months
insomnia for about 5 months
couple weeks before I started fast:
loss of appetite
poor cognitive/pre-frontal lobe functioning
blood in my stool about 5 times in Jan.
Jan 20:
swollen lymph nodes (a sign of general infection)
painful lower and upper back--it felt like my kidneys, it was so bad I couldn't stand up straight
headaches
general muscle and bone soreness
Now, it's perfectly possible that there is something else going on, but my symptoms are much better after 3 full fasting days. I also have had, but not now, very unusual, bad bruises. I did bloodwork and got my vitals checked and everything was normal. I did a stool sample and got an ultrasound and haven't gotten the results back yet. If I'm not completely better after a month of fasting, I will pursue it with more tests.
Today I feel great. My moods are swinging a lot. A body that is bipolar really needs the right nutrients. The juicing helps. I am so hoping that serious detoxing will help. I have had mild detox symptoms today. My skin feels wonderful and moist, my face is healthy, shining, and glowing. I have had dark circles under my eyes for almost 20 years. They got worse I think after 12 years on lithium and depakote. After a year of detoxing and cleansing (not fasting until now) the circles went away by about 30%. Today, they are almost all gone. I didn't wear cover-up today under my eyes for the first time in 6 years. It was great. I am hoping this means my kidneys are cleansing.
I have been detoxing enormously out of my tongue. Fascinating! Whenever I look at it, it has a yellowish, nasty, thick coating on it. I have been brushing it to make way for more toxins. When I brush it, my whole body feels great. It's really amazing. It's rejuvenating.
Fasting has decreased my anxiety greatly. Probably because my brain has slowed down. I was so mellow and peaceful today and I felt an attraction and connection with many people that I haven't experienced in a long time.
I would like to be more self-disciplined. I am hoping that fasting will improve that. I googled the two, and found some references from the Bible and Koran both alluding to that. Fasting makes me realize that so many things aren't important and helps me be less impulsive.
