The Four (Universal) Agreements

One of "The Four Agreements" as presented by Don Miguel Ruiz in his books is "Don't Take Anything Personally" which can be more positively stated as: "What other people say and do (as well as what they don't say or do) is all about them". I had a reminder of that this morning! An individual I was offering information to regarding their personal destiny, "Human Design" as well as an introduction to the new medicine paradigm wrote saying: "I'm not interested in continuing this conversation." I felt a kind of depressed feeling. I was on my way to the Farmers Market (FM) at the time i happen to open that message and after reading that I canceled going to FM. I thought: "I messed up". I wrote my new medicine friend including the reply I received as well as this thought about messing up. I also said I'm going to take a bath and chill out about this. The bath is running now as I write this.

Included in the FM trip was my intention to photocopy several pages from "The Secret Language of Destiny" that I had said I would send to this individual. Now I am relieved of that! Based on the statements made by this individual the information (and all the efforts to present it) would possibly have been wasted, discounted as an unacceptable form of "spiritual certitude". Too bad! "Spiritual certitude" may just be the cure!
