The first water fast Day one Hi. I am a lady and I am really looking for a significant change in my life. Physically im not really that healthy. I have been diagnosed with diabetes. Im 20 years old and I am 245 pounds. I am 64 inches tall and have boils and other skin infections all over my body (I also have a toenail infection). I am almost in constant pain with the boils and muscle spasums. My body odor is quiet strong(if I dont shower). My arms itch and i have discolored skin. I also snore like a frieght train. I know that this is all because of my weight. My body is a trainwreck and I know that it is because of the way I eat. I eat a lot and I eat the wrong thing. I can eat 6 hamburgers, 1 large pizza, 44 fishsticks, a gallon of ice cream and other vast quantites like that. I am ashamed of myself and I know that I need to stop if I ever want a chance to find love and have a family or if I ever want to live long enough to have either. My self esteem is quite low at this point and I am painfully shy when it comes to guys. I am always like he couldnt possible be attracted to me. I dont like to shop because I cant wear the clothes that I like to wear so I wear old crappy clothes and that makes me look even worse. I really need a change. I think that a water fast will help me lose the weight, gain self esteem and go raw vegan which is my ultimate goal. I want to be healthy and comfortable in my body. I also want to run a marathon. I cant do that at 245 pounds. I believe that I can get rid of the diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes is curable!!!!! Most people just dont want to do what it takes to get rid of it. It takes fasting. Im going to do a complete water fast. This is where I water fast until I experiance true hunger not the mental hunger that tells you to eat every 6 hours or so. This hunger is rumored to be an intense feeling that tells you that if you don't eat now that you will start to feed on vital tissue. Feeding on vital tissue is when you began to starve. I dont want to starve, I just want to get down to the essentials and start over again. This fast will be like wiping the slate clean and setting a foundation for a better lifestyle. Im not putting a time limit on it because I dont know how long it is going to take for me to experiance true hunger. Please pray for me. Pray that God will deliver me from my situation and bless me with a painfree and beautifully healthy body. Pray that God restore my self esteem and zest for life. I started today at 12am.
