Switching Gears
Steps I need to take....

Morning of stress.
Yesterday pulled my energy into
spending unexpected time reloading
the WINDOWS XP to my new MACBOOK PRO.
I had to do a complete reinstall of both OS.
The partition was incorrect.
I did not have enough room.
I have been pushing to get my old website
info converted to the MACBOOK PRO
that an run windows through BOOTCAMP.
Boot Camp comes with the new computers
that have SNOW LEOPARD.
I cannot afford to have another day of
computer investment now.
I know that if I start attempting to go live
on the PC, I will have to buy a NORTON ANTI-VIRUS.
I do not feel good about downloaded the free
ANTI-VIRUS programs that are mainly for home use.
I believe I likely said I had a Home-business
when I installed Windows. I cannot take the risk
of using a Virus Protection program that is not
fully functional and operational.
Welcome to the PC world.
I read a comment on the Mac Discussion board
that caught by eye. PC's are less expensive
upfront, but when you calculate the cost
and need to constantly pay for Security each
year or two, you are in for a perpetual outlay
of funds to keep updated.
I would like to hear a psychic look into the source
of hacking and the Virus industry. In my PC innocence,
I once downloaded one of those spyware scams
that notice you have a bug, then load you with a bug,
and then charge you for the program to get rid of the bug.
I have a feeling that this whole industry of VIrus Hacking
is sponsored by the companies that make the Virus Protection.
I am hesitant to take the next steps that would cost me
no less that a full day I am sure. I also need to upgrade
to Iphoto 9 from 8 and do an install on the IMac.
I am sure this is going to involve another learning curve.
I HAVE TO SWITCH GEARS
I took out the trash.
I emptied the crock pot.
I have been looking through files
to take a few steps out of chaos
of leaving my computer organization
to address all the upgrade and
letting go issues of the last ten days.
I could spend the whole week doing more
of this. I cann't afford this.
My set up is Tuesday for PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM.
I am very tired right now.
I spend a few hours uploading some Videos
to YOUTUBE, and getting a sense that I can
use a computer down at the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM.
I was feeling extreme pressure this morning,
part of me wanting to go for the completiion
with the old stuff, or take on the jump to IPHOTO 9 from 8.
I am familar with IPHOTO 8. IPHOTO 8 has been
acting buggy at times, and the majority of my
organization on IPHOTO is not out of sorts.
Where do I go from here with IPHOTO 8?
I promised BILL TALL of CITY FARMERS NURSERY
something of a slide show that I once had but
has since fallen apart. I agreed to a deadline.
I am going to take on making sense of my
CITY FARMER IMAGES after a nap.
That will mean--
creating a new Gallery for CITY FARMERS'
PHOTOS and moving PAC SYM photos in there as well
for order. I need a functional IPHOTO EIGHT.
On my God, will the old G4 run an IPHOTO 8?
One more foundation issue I need to get through
to know if I can do what I have in mind.
