Day One of my Juice Fast.

Date: 10/16/2009 11:48:16 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 46844 times After a big produce shop earier today I started juicing this afternoon. Green apples, celery, carrots, and parsley so far. Quite a lightweight introduction :) I'll leave the earthier veges (beetroot, cabbage, spinach) until after the first wave of detox hich fr me usually includes som mild nausea.
I have vegetable broth cooking now and this evening if and when the hunger pangs take a grip I'll have that to sip on.
I also have hot water & lemon juice on my allowed list and hot water & ginger root. Artesian spring water too.
I usually do well with 6 8oz glasses of juice per day (and an extra one or two glasses if I'm out and about, or exercising more).
Tomorrow I expect some of the "effects" to kick in and I'll update again in the evening.
