KEEP The BEET Media Star
The World's First Talking Beet Plant
has been anticipating the launch
of The GreenOps Tracking Stations,
an inventive, advance for businesses
to take responsibility for the plastic
bottles+ they sell, and for customers
to earn rewards for returning the
plastic bottles+ they use to the
stores where they buy them.
KEEP The BEET and I first saw these
Tracking stations at the NATURAL PRODUCT
EXPO WEST where MELISSA MCGINNIS,
Recycling Marketing Maven and Educator
was lifting the GREENOPS project
to new heights.
She had a team of GREENOPS AMBASSADORS
AKA The Bottle Girls, a hit of the largest
Natural Products Show on the West Coast,
modeling plastic bottle outfits while
explaining how the new EcoStations work.
KEEP The BEET Media Star enjoyed interviewing
the bottle girls. They had a lot to share.
KEEP The BEET has a clean interest in cleaning up
our oceans. Much of our plastic goes there.
It is tossed away into the ocean, rather than
returned, reused, and recyled.
ANTHONY ZOLEZZI, Sustainability Expert,
and partner PAUL WOLFF, have been putting
full time work into the behind the scenes
launch.
A key to the Greenops project is
GREENOPOLIS, a full bodied social network site
where those who return their recycling bottles+
can meet and greet.
The site has many innovative service oriented features
including Green Job Listings, and a Rewards Program.
Be sure to visit Greenopolis and become a member.

WHAT's THE PROBLEM???????
THE PLASTIC SEA:
"The United Nations Environmental Program
report estimates that there is an average
of 46,000 pieces of plastic debris
floating on or near the surface
of every square mile of ocean."

KEEP the BEET Media Star told me to send
out Kudus to the WASTE MANAGEMENT Company
for jumping on this bandwagon that within coming
months will be enlisting the support from some
of the nation's top corporations who want
to join the GREAT EARTH CLEAN UP
that will end no less in restoring the
ENCHANTED GARDEN, a name for our renewed Earth.
KEEP the BEET Media Star, one of the Plant World's
Top "Seers" told me that she thinks WALMART
would be another good candidate for involvement
with GREEN OPS.
See this article here about WALMART's LEE SCOTT
and his SUSTAINABILITY PLANS.
