slight headache and nauseum
Date: 4/21/2009 7:03:12 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1457 times Last night I dreamed of a dream distorted version of something distressful that happened several weeks ago. And I woke up feeling a little like something is happening in my bowels but nothing has come out. I did a liver flush fri/sat and have not used it since sat( some of my students call doing number two "using it", I think it's cute and funny and it may be colloquial) Anyhow, I need to start using the tea, I can't use the salt flush, because for me, in the past, it has taken hours for the entire flush to go through me. Although it is only day 2, some toxins must be stirrin up, my dream this morning was my first indication. In addition, I started to feel slightly nauseous today around 3pm. And an hour later I started getting a slight headache which I still feel.
Today I had juice from 3 oranges for breakfast
2 juiced grapefruits for lunch
a couple of peppermint and echinacea teas
a lemonade with cayenne pepper and 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
a Kombucha
I am waiting for my hubby so I can make the green drink of the evening. Probably something with cucumber, kale and celery.
Already I am feeling a little more peaceful. The negative thoughts that plague my mind are easier to overcome. I am feeling more compassionate and loving toward others. I am remembering that I am a child of the universe and no less than the stars and the trees I have a right to be here, even though my spelling and grammar suck when I am in a hurry:)
Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
