Near death experience with my water fast
As I entered my 4th day of fasting, I was not prepared with what would happen to me in the next hours to come.
Date: 4/9/2009 12:07:07 PM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 2944 times Ok, another flubbed attempt of fasting. Lol, I almost died again. my blood pressure got down to the low 40's so by the time I stopped fasting, it was almost too late.
I was not hungry when fasting and just very sick. I got nauseated on the first day and tried only to rest and stay in bed. On the third day I developed extreme pain in my legs and no matter what I tried I could not relieve the pain. I did not even think I could be in trouble with blood pressure as I had started with 120/70, I did post several times on the forum about problems I was having and there were a very few good souls who help me like Mouseclick, sun, luvjoy and marie.
But nothing prepared me for what was going to happen. I was laughing with my friend today and I said there were several that would be disappointed I survived again. I was having severe suppressed memories appear and that was very hard but I was dealing with them. I now know things I did not know before and they are not nice but things I needed to know.
I am not sure why I got so drastically sick but I can tell you for sure if you are going to fast make sure you have a bp meter. One told me I should of keep fasting and that advice would of put me in the morque so if you think of fasting be careful, be careful.
