Still losing fat...not weight
Date: 3/23/2009 10:40:17 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 4174 times Things are pretty interesting. I received the raw unprocessed coconut butter from Nutiva. It doesn't really have a taste per se. It's more of a blank canvas with a hue of coconut undertones.
My tongue is clearing up again. I have more energy.
Now regarding the weight loss. I haven't lost weight, but I am getting smaller, because I am now able to fit into dresses I haven't for a while. There are several variables to consider for this.
1. The studies talk about the cattle that were being fed coconut oil became more active and lean.
2. I have been more active and am climbing the stairs in my apartment building.
So it's the chicken vs. the egg scenario. Am I more active because of the coconut oil? Am I more active because the coconut oil is killing the candida, which is a known proponent of weight gain? Am I losing fat because I am doing the stairs or because of the coconut oil or because of the dying candida?
I am sure that part of the reason I am not losing "weight" is because I am building muscle as I climb the stairs.
All I know is that the overall process is working. I am up to 33 flights of stairs despite feeling nauseous by the time I got to the top.
My friend decided to try the coconut oil. He is starting week 2. He said he feels really nauseous and has really bad body odor. I explained that the body odor is indicative of a detox purge, which tells me that he had toxins. I usually get nauseous before a purge, because the toxins are released before it can be purged.
All I know is that the coconut oil is working for me while combining it with Candex. I will keep posting.
