Day 5 of my Juice Fast
My 30 day journey for Lent and weight loss through juice fasting
Date: 3/6/2009 10:14:30 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1318 times Today marks my 5th day of my juice fast. I started a fast this lenten season in order to losse some weight. Let me tell you a little about myself. All my life I have been a good size. I was a eight for the longest then when I went to college my dress size slowly crept up 10 then 12. I came back home to the Bahamas (yes I live in the Bahamas) and became very inactive and bloated up to a size 20. Last year I got married to the love of my life and for the wedding I lost 25lbs through healthy eating and exercising. It was very hard but I did it. Now at the age of 25 I weigh 193.9lbs
This year however I want to lose a minumum of 40lbs. Ijust started up exercising again and with the juice fast I am hoping to achieve this or at least give me a jump start.
So far the fast hasnt been that hard. I have occasional body aches and headaches but the part I am most struggling with is fatigue. I am getting good noght sleeps. Better than I have in a long time but I am still fatigue during the day like I need a nap heheeh. The not eating food part has some getting use to but I am determined to look back 25 days from now and say "I did it". So wish me luck and I welcome any suggestions or advice you guys have.
