Wow, today has not been easy. I woke up feeling great and I felt fine throughout the day but the cravings for food were literally controlling my every thought. I tried to watch a movie but eventually there was a reference to food and my mind would wander to the land of San Francisco Sourdough and a yummy turkey sandwich. I tried to read but its like I couldn't even focus on the words, my mind just drifted. The boys ate pizza last night...I had to go to bed early. My boyfriend ordered Quiznos this afternoon and I about lost it. The juices are still really good but its nothing in comparison to the aroma in the kitchen. I had a bit of a headache today, a little bit light headed and not much energy to really do anything. I ended up making a vegetable broth which was my saving grace. I added some salt which I know wasn't a very good idea but it kept me from taking a bite of left over sandwich and afterwards I felt SO much better. If a little sodium keeps me on track then I will take it! The warmth of it was comforting too. I didn't take the time to consider the fact that there would be SO much delicious temptation all around me. That has been the worst part. Watching everybody enjoy the things I love so much!!!
I have noticed two swollen lymph nodes, well at least that's what I hope they are. One on each side of my jaw just below the ear...I'm figuring they are swelling due to my body cleansing...The one on the right side is a little painful but its right where my jaw is moving and I have a mild form of TMJ so that probably doesn't help it any. I'm going to keep an eye on it and I am already scheduled for a physical on the 28th so hopefully they will be gone by then.
I'm probably not going to consume anymore juice tonight, the broth was enough to carry me through **thank goodness!** So I will be on to day 4 and I'm crossing my fingers that it will be easier than today!!
