Update on the night of Day 1 An update to tell about my first cleansing crises. Last night was beyond awful! My headache developed into a debilitating migraine. I got extremely ill and threw up in the middle of the night. That was followed by hot and cold sweats, trembling and body aches. I guess I experienced my first cleansing crises, and crises it was indeed. I have very rarely felt that awful and I have never thrown up unless I consumed too much alcohol so that was a total shock to me! I was extremely close to caving in, actually as I was laying there I had decided that I would get up and break off the end of a banana and eat it along with a Tylenol and as I was working up the strength to get up off the couch, my kitty popped her head up, jumped on top of me and scared the living daylights out of me. She then proceeded to be a little ball of comfort, head-butting me and laying right on my chest where she rested her head on mine. She has never done that before! I was so moved that I laid back down and cuddled with her even though I quite literally felt like I was going to pass out from pain. Lo and behold about 10 minutes passed and my headache started to ease up and with that so did the rest of my symptoms. They didn't disappear completely for another hour or so but it was such a relief! So thank you Trixy for making me wait a few more minutes!!!
