Well here it goes...an intro to my first juice fast
In a couple of days I will begin my first juice fast for a total of two weeks.
Date: 7/9/2008 2:31:48 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1766 times Well here I am on another journey to weightloss and overall health...Let me tell you these past few months have been hell in the health department. I pretty much eat whatever I damn well please and I do it in excess...everyday. This morning I weighed in at a whopping 145 lbs. This is the heaviest I have been in a very long time. I have come to what I like to call my "breaking point" where my habits get so bad and so out of control that I actually have a little intervention with myself.
Slowly over the past couple of years I have been attempting a switch to a more organic lifestyle, Im attempting the "go green" lifestyle that is oh so popular at the moment but I just simply have not been able to kick the junk food...and I will admit it right now so I never have to again...its largly because I have also adopted another type of "go green" lifestyle which involves my favorite happy leaf which from here on out will be referred to as "MJ". I also have a caffeine addiction and a pain pill addiction. Im pretty much just a mess and I feel horrible. My excema and acne are acting up, I wake up everyday with a headache (not an exageration) and I just feel horrible about myself!!!!!!!
I know how hard this is going to be but Im determined to see it through. I can do two weeks, I know I can. Support will be oh so greatly appreciated though! Im going to attempt two weeks for my very first fast. If Im feeling fabulous at the end of it I may actually extend it a few days but we will see!!! I will give my stats and all that good stuff on the first day of my fast. Im eating healthier and limiting my intake over the next couple of days in order to prepare myself. The only other thing I am waiting for is my juicer to get here! I got one by Breville, its called the juice fountain compact. It should be here in a day or two I hope! So I will be posting again when it does!!!
