Depression Sets In
gardening...good for what ails you
Date: 6/14/2008 7:37:53 AM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 3644 times These days I find myself chronically depressed. My mother's cytoreduction is next weekend. I guess all I can do is put one foot in front of the other. My big saviour in all this has been gardening and bike riding. Maybe I'll go outside now that it's sunny. Rain visited the Alleghenies and now my seedlings are springing up. My experiment of planting wheatgrass in an outdoor six inch deep box has yielded out of control results *LOL* My mother's doctor, Yes a Memorial Sloan Kettering doctor, told her to keep drinking the wheatgrass to boost her blood. She was eating clams and I wonder if that lowered her numbers a bit.
Anyway, the Kelly Howell mp3s being played at night helps. I'm going out to the garden before my husband wakes up. take care.
