Fasting: Day 2
Day two of the journey

Ok, so I'm on my 2nd day of fasting and so far it's not too bad. The juice fasting is definitely like everyone says; it fills you up. I was a bit hungry today, but downed some apple juice and was good to go. I had 64 oz of orange juice as well today. I'm going with the, "drink as much juice as you want" plan as most sources I've read seem to indicate that that's a-ok.
Tomorrow will be my last day on the juice fast before I go to strictly water. I'm definitely missing solid food though. I found myself craving some pizza when I woke up and some bacon, eggs and hash browns later in the day (I'm weird like that).
So far I haven't given in, but I imagine once I go to all water it'll be a lot more difficult. Hopefully, I can stay strong and don't give in though. I really need to improve my health and turn things around.
My issue definitely revolves around both boredom and the love of food. I just love the taste of everything that is terrible for my body it seems. Potato chips, ice cream, cereal (and not the healthy ones either), cookies, etc. In the worst of times it was nothing for me to sit down during a movie and eat an entire box of cookies or a bag of chips. I had the "bottomless pit" effect going, except without the benefits of a fast metabolism.
So, here I am trying to turn myself around and lose this extra weight. I'm about 240 right now and hope to get myself down to 160 by the time I'm done.
