No food! and made the shift from feasting to fasting mode. I figured I might as well use the "fast food" on Saturday, since I couldn't buy any take-out food. I had food, but it needed to be thawed out & prepared. And if it's frozen; to me, it doesn't exist until I'm in the mood to cook; which is rarely. Saturday afternoon I checked my account and saw I was no longer overdrawn. By that time half the day had gone by with no solid food, so I decided to stick with it. And that became day 1. I did not go out on Saturday. Had I gone out, I'm sure I would have been tempted to grab something to eat, or I might have eaten something out of habit, by mistake-and blown an entire day. It was better for me to stay home and let my mind and body relax into a pace conducive to fasting. Have you noticed that outside, everything moves faster? It compells me to move faster too - and in my experience, fasting is the opposite of that. I'm continuing my detox baths, had my alk drinks, MC drinks, and carrot juice w/ the vitamineral green. The first night I went to sleep, I had some itching and had some hives the next morning. Last night no itching, but had hives this morning. These, and other symptoms were a major problem I experienced for most of my life until I found Moreless's Forum, and tried his protocol. The first day I had 8 drinks, plus water; the 2nd day I had 7 drinks plus water. What I decided to do is have more liquids - I'll try for 10 - to slow down the detox a little; and for sure continue with the alk baths and drinks and I should be fine. This morning I had a small alk drink and later a cup of chicken vegetable soup broth w/ vitamineral green. It tasted very good. I've got my MC drink, alk drink & herbal tea on hand; and I'll pick up some fresh juice at lunchtime. Only __days to go.
