day three.
surprising amount of energy for an 11hr day on the mountain.
Date: 4/19/2008 11:49:35 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1985 times i didnt take the laxative tea last night and i also didnt do the swf flush this morning. the guy ive been dating spent the night - i just couldnt handle shitting all morning, and then possibly having to still be submitting to those urges in the mountains the next morning...ive decided im okay with an every other day schedule for the swf.
busy busy morning. awoke at 6am. concerned about not having enough energy for the day, i took 4 Tbs. of maple syrup for breakfast today...and then packed my nalgene and mason jar with my lemonade concotion. without cayenne (i left it at work)... i met up with my class at the base of the mountain by 7am. not super strenuous, a mellow 40 min or so approach to our location up the mountain. during the climb, i reached in my pack for my nalgene and ended up cutting my finger pretty bad on shards of glass that used to be my mason jar full of lemonade. pretty bummed about that, but also not stoked i bled for over an hour and had a hard time concentrating on my climb with blood pouring down my finger the whole time...good thing i had the backup nalgene. although i made the lemonade way too sweet - my thinking was to add enough maple syrup so i would have energy for the day. but i should have brought water too because i did get super thirsty and sweet sweet lemonade is not the best thirst quencher in the world...we ended up spending 11 hours out there today...pretty exhausting, but not bad...
after class, everyone went to get beers and food at my favorite brewery afterward. let me tell you what a challenge it is to sit there when everyone around you is eating everything you love...and the smells...i tried not to breathe in with my nose...! i was diligent and just ordered a lot of lemons to go with my waters wtihout ice.
feeling pretty beat right now, its nearly 11pm...what a long day...i was surprised that i didnt feel too hungry today, and still had sufficient energy for an 11 hr day on the mountain. hunger pangs did hit a couple times during the lunch hour, but they passed...i also realized, its best not to chew gum - that stirs up my belly and makes me sooo hungry...!
anyways, this cleanse is not too bad so far... i think my belly is chilling out...the first two days were probably the hardest thus far...
