There are no shortage of Birds
nor Bees here.
I am returned from
the Natural Product Expo West.
I went out to survey the garden,
the garden here at the Enchanted Garden
Intentional Community, San Diego, California.
I ran into explicit sex,
not more than ten feet from the
Original Apple Tree when all
the stir happened back then
between the Snake and Eve,
only this Time it was me and the
Alligator lizards.
I was the Voyeur.
When I saw them first,
I was not sure what I was seeing.
First i thought maybe I was seeing
a rattlesnake, but then I realized
it was a big alligator lizard.
Alligator lizards run. They can be fierce.
I have not seen one here in years.
It wasn't moving at all.
Was it dead?
I had a plastic bottle with residue's
of Peter's Powder, Peter Dukich's Biodynamic Blend
in my right hand. I Christened the Lizard
with a sprinkle from a distance. I wanted to see if it might
still be alive.
It was very much alive, but it did not move.
I looked closer.
Oh, now I see! There were two lizards
basking in the morning sun.
One was on top of the other,
their tails intertwined.
Now this was something to Record
in the History of Peace on Earth.
I backed off. I went to get my Olympus C5050.
I came down with it and held my distance.
The batteries, they were dead.
I went back to my room.
I got more batteries.
I reloaded.
Would they still be there?
Yes, they were.
I started Recording from a distance.
I did not what to cause Coitus Interuptus;
I know the feeling.
I took a number of photos at a distance.
Then, as I was about to come in for the
closeup, then scattered underneat Colin Leath's
layers of newly layed Permaculture pathways.
Ouch! a Moment Close Up lost.
I wanted to see if I could find them.
I approached with a stick and moved
a few layers. Lots of moisture underneath
the blanket of delicious mulch,
I could not see the lizards. They were gone,
no doubt enjoying the afterglow.
In all it must have been at least a 15 minute
rondevous in the garden with the Lizards,
they may likely change the Future of our Spring here.
X now marks the spot.
I will forever have a new story to tell,
about the Fateful day I returned to the garden.
What could have caused this great Syncronicity
of events?
I was feeling quite chipper this morning.
Chipper? Was it due to the swigs of
anderon martell's Golden Noni Elixir,
I had before bedtime, and before breakfast????

Outtakes...
This weekend is the Spring Equinox, and I am full of it.
It has been a very difficult winter, but I am feeling
the Spring. I can see a Soilmates Gathering very soon,
maybe even on Sunday! Oh, Sunday is also the day of Purim,
a Jewish Holiday
when people wear masks to lose their identities.
Time for Oatmeal...and tired...
11:52 back later....
