Understanding Feelings
I am working out feelings right now.
I am seeking to understand
and have compassion for you.
In doing so, I have self understanding
and self compassion.

Feeling stuck.
Wrote this this morning.
Warm sunny day.
Just up from a nap.
Felt exhausted at FM.
Do not feel like taking this on...

I am taking time now to understand my feelings.
When I take time to understand you,
I piece my own life together.
It is a gift when you tell me what
you are deeply feeling.
I am seeking to understand.
I am seeking compassion.
The stability I am seeking in my life...
the sense of continuity...
the feeling I can rely on what you tell me
comes as I take time to
come to terms withmy own feelings
and hold them in love.
The more I clean up...
literally and create my own nest
in order, the more strength I feel.
It takes strength to put my house in
order.
My strength comes from my ability
to take time to put my house in order.
This is a spiritual disciple.
A part of me does not want to take
this time now.
I can feel angry.
I would like to do other things
that seem more important.
Coming to terms with understanding
helps me undersand my upset.
I would rather come to terms
with these feelings than self medicate
to block my feelings.
I can get through the feelings that upseti me.
Doing this, brings me closer to myself.
Doing this brings me closer to you.
Creating understanding between us,
opens the heart to love.
Creating understanding between us,
allows me to stay in a feeling of connection.
The other choice I have is to succumb
to addictions.
I have watched those I love
succumb to addicition.
This creates a loss of life.
