I am a 37 year old Special Education Teacher in NYC. My weight fluctuated from @ 135-150 up until I had a baby in 2005. My preganacy was really good as I only gained about 35lbs. The day I delivered I was 184. After the baby was born I never lost the weight. In fact I gained 20 pounds. I attribute to the stress of having a newborn, hormones in birthcontrol shot, and the extreme post partum depression which lasted over a year. My goals of this fast include: body detoxification especially my liver, clearing up acne, spirtiual enlightenment, and weightloss. I have attempted to juice fast for atleast a year. Usually I only make it a half a day to a day. I decided not to post until I had been fasting for 5 days. I am now on Day 6.
During my first 3 days I drank honey dew juice, a master cleanse mix using raw organic agave nectar instead of syrup, and a portien shake made with blueberries, soy milk, and Udo's 369 oil blend.
Day 4-5 I drank watermelon juice and on day 5 I had a cup of homemade vegetable. Day 5 was extremely stressful.
Suprisingly I was not hungry for the first four days, but on day 5 I was feeling hungry and not desiring my juice so I drank veggie broth made of carrots, garlic, tomatoes, corn, cayenne pepper, and whole allspice. This broth was fabulous and it gave me a much needed boost to make it through day 5.
It seems like I am doing #1 like every hour, but #2's are few and far between.
Day 6- I feel really nervous and jittery as I write this, I was experienced the same yesterday. I guess this is due to the fast. Also during the first 5 days I was forgetting everyones name. Seriuosly people who I see everyday I was calling them a different name or just not remembering their name at all, even my students. I hope this clears up soon.

Starting wt. - 191.5
Day 6 - 184
Goal - 145

I would really appreciate any feed back and inspiration offered.

I easily and happily release all blocks that have contributed to my unhealthy lifestyle.

Namaste
