Upper Right Abdominal Pain 13 y
Chronic abdominal pain and possible causes.
Right side upper abdominal pain, along the rib margins is a mystery. It appears to affect a number of people who have or believe they have a congested liver or gallbladder. It appears in a few people after completing several liver-flushes but it is different in character to gallbladder or liver pain. It is present all the time and isn’t triggered by eating although it may get worse a certain parts of the day and by physical activity. It can be described as burning or grinding. It affects the actual rib area on a line level with the arm pit and the back at the same level. It doesn’t track ... read more

Telman's Maintenance Programme - Updated 17 y
Diary of events following the liver cleansing programme.
Telman’s Maintenance Programme
I carried out my last routine flush, number 38, on the 5 Dec 2006. I completed my first maintenance flush (flush 39) in the first week on January 2007 and the second (flush 40) at the Spring Equinox, March 21 2007. Both produced some chaff but no stones.
I have kept up my activities at the local gymnasium where they run a special session for people with a medical requirement who will benefit from regular exercise and specially trained staff is available on hand to help out. It’s mainly set-up for folk with heart and strokes but I got on the programme in ... read more
Dehydration during liver flushing 17 y
How to avoid dehydration and re-hydrate
There are many concerns expressed about dehydration during the liver flush. It may be of interest to explain how dehydration occurs and what to do about it. The liver flush is a very versatile therapy and one can flush even without the use of Epsom salts or another purgative, just by consuming the flush potion of oil and usually citric acid. The down side of this type of flush that does purge is that the flush products consisting of stones and toxins are not evacuated quickly from the bowel and may be re-absorbed. The oleic acid present in oil and similar oils can in some circumstances in ... read more

Hiatal Hernia
There are stories told about people who have been ill since childhood regaining their health and vigour after years of poor health. Suddenly after skilful treatment by foreword thinking natural health providers they have gain strength, muscle and stamina. These people have suffered from an undetected Hiatal Hernia. Magnesium Citrate or Sulphate 17 y
Rough guide to magnesium salts
A salt is a compound formed by replacing hydrogen in an acid by a metal. Therefore the action of sulphuric acid on magnesium produces magnesium sulphate and the action of citric acid on magnesium produces magnesium citrate. There are a whole host of different salts than be made by using different acids.
Therefore: magnesium sulphate is also known as sulphuric acid magnesium salt and magnesium citrate as citric acid magnesium salt.
A carbonate is a salt of carbonic acid; a chlorate is a salt of chloric acid, etc.
Salts produce a different action on our biochemistry depe ... read more

The involvement of Magnesium Sulphate in the Liver Flush
Epsom salts (Magnesium sulphate)
Epsom salts is a hyperosmotic saline type laxative which acts within in a regulation time of 1-6 hours, however this figure is also reported to be 3 to 12 hours or even longer up to 24 hours. I assume it is dependant upon the transit time through the small intestines. It contracts the gallbladder, relaxes the sphincter of Oddi, and increases gastric, intestinal and pancreatic secretion and, very importantly, production of cholecystokinin. Magnesium Sulfate (Magnesium Suphate; MgSO4) consists of 9.7% Magnesium bound to

Enterohepatic Recirculation 17 y
A description about the recirculation of bile.
Enterohepatic Recirculation (or Circulation)
Bile is re-circulated through the iliem (called the “ileal bile acid transporter”) to the liver. There is a rich supply of digestive bile in the intestinal chyme shortly after meal.
Bile acids are “facial amphipathic”, that is, they are repelled by water and transiently bond with water through hydrogen bonding. They have the ability to micro-emulsify fat by its detergent action which greatly increases the surface area of fat making it available for digestion by a process called lipase. At the normal “pH” (acid/alkali) level of the ... read more
Oil and Citric Acid Flush Potion 17 y
Short article about the suitability of oils
Oil and citric acid Liver Flush Potion
(Please be patient the table takes a few moments to load)
The choice of oil for a liver-flush should ideally be high quality oil that doesn’t contain any chemical additives. Oils are often cloudy making them appear unappealing and oxidize quickly giving then a short shelf life; consequently they are clarified and preserved by the manufacturers with chemicals. High quality cold pressed virgin olive oil doesn’t oxidize easily and is a firm cost effective favourite for liver flushing. This does not preclude the use of other oils ... read more
Explanation of the Liver Flush 17 y
This is a personal explanation of the liver flush.
After the oil and citric acid potion is ingested it is quickly transferred as chyme from the stomach, through the pyloric sphincter, to the duodenum as a series of spurts. The stomach plays only a minor role in the processing of the flush potion. Each spurt is about the volume of 1 teaspoon. The meal is unique being so oily and acid and there is nothing quite like it in such large quantities. The absence of a number of hormones fails to slow its transit into the duodenum. In the mucous walls of the duodenum the high acidity of the chyme stimulates the production of secretin and the fat sti ... read more

Essay about Biliary Sludge
Definition of Biliary Sludge
Biliary sludge is mixture of microscopic particles that have precipitate from bile. Biliary sludge was first observed when ultrasonography (ultra sound) was invented in the 1970s. Its composition varies, but cholesterol monohydrate crystals, calcium bilirubinate, and other calcium salts are the most common components.
Biliary sludge is like microscopic gallstones, although it is not define at what size a sludge particle becomes a gallstone. A gallstone is defined as a particle with a diameter larger than 2mm that cannot be crushed between the ... read more
Quality of Olive Oils 17 y
A short essay about the quality of olive oil.
Olive Oil
Olive oil obviously comes from olives which are cultivated, harvested, pressed, bottled, transported and ultimate sold. This process affects the quality of the olive and consequently not all olive oil is the same. It should be chosen in the same that you chose a good wine or fruit juice.
In some parts of the world olive trees are grown traditionally on land that is fertilised naturally, without artificial irrigated or watering. It is harvested with care and by hand when the olives are mature (golden read) and transported without damage to be milled within 24 hrs ... read more

History of flushes 1 to 10
First Flush Having carefully research and read through the information readily available on the internet decided to trust in curezone as it was the only forum to offer true altruistic support. I started my first flush on 2nd June 2005. I did exactly as it said in the Dr Hulda Clark protocol except that everything was 1hr later, I used the juice from three lemons with which I sipped alternately the olive oil and I did not take any ornithine capsules. I had no problems drinking any of the potions and in fact quite enjoyed the olive oil and lemon juice. When I was laying flat on my back in be ... read more

A standard Dr Hulda Clark protocol was adopted but with an addition half dose of olive oil and lemon juice 30 taken minutes after the main dose. The night was fairly comfortable and a cup of Andrews was taken at 4.00am to cure a touch of indigestion. 21st Flush
This flush was carried out on 14 March 2006, two weeks after the previous one. My ritual consists of visiting the gymnasium to increase the metabolic rate in the body which in turn increases the flow of bile. I had an excellent work-out and my physio is surprised that I have made so much progress recently; I wonder if that is down to flushing? I adopted the Hulda Clark protocol and I added 1 heaped teaspoon of turmeric and the juice from 2 ounces of fresh ginger root. The volume of the potion was 8 fluid ounces of olive oil and 8 ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice. After ... read more

I repeated this dose of the potion at 21.00, 21.30, 22.00 and 22.30; consuming a total of 10 fluid ounces each of olive oil and lemon juice. At 23.30 I drank another dose of Epson salts and retired to bed where I had a reasonable night albeit slightly disturb by acid indi ... read more
