Why This Father?
Having some insights
on why my Soul choose
my father Solomon
as my dad.

It is an Essene Teaching that
we Choose our Parents as part of our Soul Contract.
I have been experiencing grief coming to terms
with my father and who he is right now in my eyes.
I have spent years coming to peace with this man.
"Rekindling of Faith," one of my books shares this healing.
The scab was torn off the healing I have done with my father
during my recent visit. This is coming up now as I interact
with my niece Eva. She can communicate with my father
better than I can. She as well sees him more distantly.
He does not appear to have bonds to his children
that are similar to the bonds she had with her own father.
Her dad did all he could in his life to help his kids.
My dad has chosen many times my step mother
over his own children. I imagine this is natural.
The bond with a wife is stronger than the bond
with children.
This hurts.
When I was a teen, he left me with a whole house full of furniture
to go and find his wife when she left him.
I did not see him for a number of years.
He did send some money to support me
after a few years.
I am wondering why I chose this man as my father?
I just had some insights into that.
I chose him that I might have personal experience
with abandonment, and that my Soul would win out
over and in the process of overcoming woundedness,
inspire myself and others through the telling of my story.
I do not believe we have our wounds and ailments
to break us. We have them to help us have breakthroughs.
This is how the Earth and all who live here are
uplifted.
I do not believe we are born now to
walk in the foot steps of our forebears.
We are here to inherit qualities from them
and then through our own consciousness
evolve the history of the future in a new direction.
