I reached my goal of 10 days! 17 y
I am proud, and happy to announce that I have achieved my goal of 10 days on the master cleanse detox diet. It was a challenging yet wonderful experience for both mind and body. I was once again able to prove to myself my ability to set my mind on a task and see it through. I feel energized and motivated. I am 12 pounds lighter and the bloating and indigestion is gone. I plan to switch over to a much healthier way of eating, choosing mostly fruits, veggies and whole grains and legumes. A suggestion to anyone just starting out is to stay the course, one day at a time, because it is truly worth the effort.
I am on day 7 of the master cleanse and going strong 17 y
7th day on the master cleanse and I have to say that I have never felt better! I am alert, light and happy. The first 4 days were rough to say the least but when I set my mind to a task where I know the end result will be worthwhile I perservere. Unfortunately my husband has begun to ease his way back to eating at day 7. He has been plagued with insomnia for 4 nights and has begun to feel very weak. When he tried to drink the lemonaide yesterday it made him vomit and the salt water flush never worked well for him. Has anyone else experienced these severe symptoms? They speak of bouts of naseau etc but his was so consistant that he couldnt even think about drinking the lemonaide. He is disappointed and we were wondering if anyone has any suggestions? He really wanted to make the 10 days. I suggested maybe a different type of fast next time that is not quite as severe.
