What is dis-ease? 18 y
from here, we can tackle different therapies(i'm still learning), in particular fasting. this topic may need greater subtopics as the understanding of disease is a very profound subject.
disease
While in the past, sanitation was a big problem, this is no longer a risk factor in an increasingly modernized world. LED factors are individual choices. In essence, if you fall sick, it was not because you were unlucky to have ”caught” the illness, but obversely, you worked hard to ”earn” it.
Blame the bacteria, virus, protozoans? Think again.
I am not here to play down scientific identification and speculation of recent revelation of lethal viruses that wiped out a huge number of victims in diseases like SARS, Avian Flu, Madcow disease. Being in the medical field, I und ... read more

clean bill of health
Health is a reflection of how we choose to live.” Dr. Peter A. Martin, N.D. Naturopathy
Yes, this is a must read. I am however, still learning all the techniques available.
Let me break good health down simply. First Definition.
Definition(Houghton Milfin COmpany): The condition of being physically and mentally sound: haleness, healthiness, heartiness, soundness, wholeness.
I especially subscribe to this definition because it hits the very essence of health. Point: health is not just about the freedom from disease, but an overall condition. The only point I feel is that the de ... read more

resolution: delineate salient aspects of good health and clearing up misconceptions of many who are not serious about attaining optimum health
Barbara Tuchman:
Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill.
I love books. If I had all the money in the world, I would invest in books, because the summation of wisdom found from books surpass the experience and intelligence of any human mind. The best reward of books is the education that I receive unfailingly. Often too there is an intimacy I develop with characters or concepts in books, that feed my insatiable craving. I talk of books because I miss the pleasure of good boo ... read more

ALL OVER AGAIN
(Ronan Keating)
Turn Down the light, Turn up the radio.
There’s a fire in your eyes, and its keeping me warm
Hold on to me like it was yesterday,
When we both felt our spirits collide
(Kate Rusby)
I remember the moment, being struck down by lightning
Since the first time I saw your face, and you smiled
Come and lay down with me
Fill the space that’s between us
Feel the magic that keeps love alive
This time, can be like the first time
Close your eyes and soon you’ll be there
No man could ever guess what you’re feeling

Learning to liberate myself from my addiction to food.
”I admire addicts. In a world where everybody is waiting for some blind, random disaster, or some sudden disease, the addict has the comfort of knowing what will most likely wait for him down the road. He’s taken some control over his ultimate fate, and his addiction keeps the cause of death from being a total surprise.”
Chuck Palahniuk (American freelance journalist, satirist and novelist. b.1961)

An Oprah Fan-Living a lie 18 y
Questions I hope I find answers to at the end of this journey:
Who I want to be? vs What I want to have?
What is this lesson in my life? What am I missing?
”A lot of women are getting sucked into this illusion of the [celebrity] lifestyle,” says Oprah. ”But I’m telling you, nothing is what it seems to be.” Hollywood image everyone is buying into isn’t what it seems. ”It’s all about creating this whole world, this magical fairy-tale land to create this great illusion,” says Bloch. ”It’s the ’Kodak moment’ when you’re on the red carpet. … It’s the hype. It’s the publicity. It’s the glamour.”
I confess I have been living a lie for a good number of years in my adolescence, because of paradox of presenting a flawless image and a desire to to fe ... read more

Suffering, Satan, and Standing Firm
(1 Peter 5:8-14)
By:
Bob Deffinbaugh , Th.M.
8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. 10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Food is not good or bad
eating too much and purging is not bad in itself
The thoughts are the only thing that trap you,
and they are yours
You hold the key by not directing your attention in such a manner
to your eating or purging
By the time you are writing this blog it is in the past
and you are not

Who am I? Letting go is a difficult task 18 y
keeping a normalcy in life
Difficult times have helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever.(Isnak Dinesen)
The lesson of letting go is so tough because each of us innately want to preserve and flaunt our best assets or at least the image of power and beauty. We worry about revealing personal weakness, perhaps a result that stems from Darwin’s survival of the fittest axiom. I, myself, am a victim of this and cannot stand the idea of letting a single blemish in character, att ... read more
