its a bit like the chicken or the egg... i skin brushed and i know it stimulated my skin and aiding in the healing process however i truley believe the biggest factor for my skin clearing/healing was the juice fast. i had extemely dry skin, a naggin eczema patch about the size of my fist in middle of my chest also significatn areas of white patchy spots all over my chest neck and back from sun dammage adn exposure also my skin would often be extremely itchy especially when i sweat and then would turn to a sting. i aslo cannot wear any synthetic fabrics- all of these conditions cleared within 2 weeks of fasting althougt i still dont wear many if any synthetic clothing. hope this helps im sure you will see results from fasting and i think if your skin can cope with the brushing it would help...i think i read soemthing along the lines of - it helps eliminate the toxins and encourages your skin to replenish itself.
