Hi all. I didnt get to update on Saturday, so have decided to do an update for both days. I broke the fruit fast slightly on Saturday evening, as i was out for dinner with a friend, and although I was only intending on having a fruit smoothie (which they served) I was informed by the staff that drink could not be ordered on their own without food :( so I ordered an omlette with goats cheese, red peppers and a side salad, but yesterday got back on track with the fruit fasting, I did not loose any weight on saturday morning, but was down a pound as of this morning bringing my weightloss to ... read more

2 weeks in and half way through :) and 12lbs down due to my 2lb weightloss this morning, and I have also broken the 12 stone barrier. I may start adding in some veg from here on in as i had planed on doing so once id reached the half way mark, but I will see how i feel a little later on today before deciding on wether or not I will do so.

Day 13 today, and my weight is still at 12.00, so no weight loss this morning, but however I can see a definite change in my body and in the way that my clothes are fitting, so im not as concerned about the amount of weight that is reducing on the scales. I also recieved a compliment yesterday in relation to my skin looking clearer and healthier, which I feel is a consequence of the consumption of fruit that I have been eating for the last 2 weeks. I will persever and am eager to reach my 28 day goal!

Down 2lbs today, which i am pleased about, and I am hoping that this means that I have broken through my plateu :) very eager to break the 12 stone barrier now :) looking forward to seeing 11.13 on the scale :)

No weight lost again today :( think I’ve reached a platue. But I will preserver. Still feeling fine on the fast. Will update again tomorrow.

Another 1lb down today, bringing my total weight loss to 8lbs in 9 days, which I am quite pleased about :) Yesterday was a little more difficult than some of the previous days, as I went out for a drink with a friend after work, and she ordered food, but I stayed strong and ordered only a fruit smoothie :)

No weight loss today, which I half expected, I think that I have reached the point where my weightloss will be slower from her on in, which is fine :) Im still on track with normal levels of energy etc... and am still sticking to fruit meals only, which I am enjoying.

Didnt get to post yesterday, so am updating on 2 days today. Both days have been pretty straightforward, my hunger has more or less gone now (although i do have the odd craving now and then) but all in all im feeling fine :) I didnt lose any weight yesterday and stayed at 12.04, but dropped a pound this morning so am now down to 12.03 will update again tomorrow.

Still on track, but no weight loss today. Yesterday was easier than the previous, I had hardly any cravings outside of the allowed fruit. and I am actually quite enjoying the fruit and looking forward to my fruit meals, and have also noticed little effect in my energy levels.

Fourth day and down 3lbs today :) yesterday was a little more challenging, as I really had a craving for fast food during the evening, but was able to overcome the craving by just snacking on more fruit when and if I felt hungry, which seems to have been reflective in the weight loss achieved this today.

Down another 1lb today. Again yesterday wasnt too difficult, I just ensured that I kept myself busy, and snacked on various fruits throughout the day, which im finding quite easy to maintain at present :)

This is my 2nd day of fruit fasting and I have lost 2 lbs. Yesterday was quite ok, was able to withstand hunger, through snacking on fruits such as apples and grapes throughout the day. All in all a good start I think!

I have decided to embark on a 28 day fruit fast, which will end on the 1st of December.
I have over the past few years gained 2 stone in weight and am aiming to lose it by christmas and then plan to follow a healthy eating plan to lose the rest of the weight.
I will update this blog every morning with the amount of weight that I have lost.
During the 28 day process, I will consume only fruit where and when I feel hungry. At present I will keep it to fruit, but may decide to add veg in at a later stage.
I am 5.5 and weight 12 stone and 10lbs
