Hi Peanut!
Still playing catch-up here between flurries of house activity.
Wanted to share I have yet to have a good water battle. My neighbors do not have the sense of humor I have (yet...ggg) and the wife wears make-up and I doubt she would appreciate me wantonly soaking her. I also played a prank on her last week, one I thought was mild but was surprised by her less than happy reaction. So...ggg...I will have to wait for some others to come and practice my pranks on. I have had a GREAT time with my rubber copperhead. The men especially react to it. I have even scared myself a couple of times, having forgotten I put it somewhere. It looks realistic and since it is copperhead season, we all are vigilant. My neighbor came this morning on a snakehunt since we have seen two here and I will not kill them. When my computer guy came a few days ago, he chased one around for a half hour but lost him in one of the gardens. Well, two copperheads went to heaven today...its a guy thing I am sure...but my neighbor pulled his pistol out and blammed the head off of one. I was not around for the other kill but heard about it and he reminded me of a kid as I watched him display the head of the second one. He is a great neighbor that way, since it does help keep vet bills down if we keep the snake population low. Usually once a year some dog gets bit. One of his got bit recently. Otherwise, my rubber snake still has his head, amazingly....ggg.
My friends husband will be home for a week next week and if it is not raining, I will certainly get him to play with me! I did check out my water balloons and may make up a cooler of those for the occasion. He would not suspect it either but it would mean I have to anticipate payback! It could be anything from being popped on the back with a water balloon...yes, he has his own stash of those! or the worst, he loves to turn off the hot water when we girls are showering just to hear us squeal!
I owe him anyway, since he got me with a sort of classic prank...he told me he needed me to use the guest bathroom since he had done some work on the septic line and wanted to make sure it was flowing good. So, I am in there tinkling away and reach to get some toilet paper and he had put a toilet paper roll holder in there which plays a recorded message, in his voice!, that said, great job, your performance will be shown on the internet. You can program it to say whatever you want. Needless to say, I was surprised but laughed anyway and there was a small crowd outside the bathroom door laughing. Jeez, they must have had their ears to the door!
I had gotten him the last time though so I deserved it. I partnered up with our massage therapist who comes to the house and so while he was naked on the table getting a massage, we had a fart machine under the table making it sound like he was pooting his heart out....ggg
I know...too much fun around here, but like everyone, we need to exercise our sense of humor and too many people forget how to have fun and play!
I will post my results if I get to toss some water balloons around. Its been stormy this week and today the sky is equally dramatic with short bursts of raindrops. Now sure what tuesday will bring, but perhaps FUN!
Have a great day!
blessings,
