I read all your posts for fasting. Your reasons are very much like mine. I started during Lent and initially was planning to end on Easter which is my 7th day. I wanted to dedicate this fast to God and focusing growing spiritually. I prayed to God to help heal my relationship with food and my body.
I recognize how food and the body often produces feelings of shame/guilty. Like I need to always be controlled and disciplined with food. I don't like having rules or limitations with eating. This often leads to feeling conflicted and ultimately a sense of powerlessness. I've found going on the Master Cleanse and water fasting is a great way to reset everything.

Sugar/Carbs are my food triggers. I found that going to Paleo helps me feel full and satiated without having too many restrictions or having to portion my food. I treat juices (except lemon) as desserts so I'm try to avoid it or be careful to limit how much I drink. I prefer to go to broths when re-feeding. Anyway I thought I'd just mentioned a few of those things.
