The bird knew flues, like a new bird flu
or, The Bored knows flows like a penguin [a bird!] knows floes.
No, there is no meaning there, but we will look for one.
So, look for the meaning in the bird flu news on major media...
Have you seen anything about the annual migration of birds that was supposed to wipe out, oh, 90% of the humans?
Even just that high estimate tells us something. I've seen 85% death rates predicted by seemingly serious scientists for this "coming bird flu". It would only serve to scare people to predict just 50% death rate, which is more than triple the highest flu death rate ever recoreded [and from olden days when there was not coping/survival abilites we have now].
So thats what they were trying to do - scare us.
For months now the major media has been telling us that the bird flu is coming as a PANDEMIC. Lots of stories related to this news too, like how to use drugs to prevent it, or get a vaccine to prevent it, as if it were that close and that dangerous.
But the news didn't appear that tells us it is over, the birds have migrated and there was no human-to-human strain developed, and not any contagion in the birds.
Of the 7500 birds tested that migrate between Africa and Europe, guess how many had the virus? It would make news if it were a lot, but not if it were ZERO. That would simply tell people they can stop worrying and stop getting vaccinated and stop stockpiling the Tamiflu preventitive. And they don't want THAT!!!
are they saying -" Don't let them relax, they don't have enough to worry about" ?
NONE. Not one of the tested birds tested positive. There is no danger of a pandemic this year. Don't tell them.

the bird flu scares may serve to prepare people for future tactics or goals, whatever those might be.
What it may have done to the public mindset and trust is another problem.
Crying Wolf has real consequences. I doubt the bird flu, or any natural pandemic, will ever be as deadly as they said this one could be [85% death rate], but if it ACTUALLY happens, then not so many people will pay attention.
That may be an unintended consequence.
Or it might help their goals - if it is an UN-NATURAL pandemic [one "they" produce], then after a few of these Cry Wolf episodes, people WILL be caught unawares. We won't believe it until its toolate, giving the virus a much better chance of infecting everyone. {So who has the ability to get the mass media to do its bidding, as well as want a global pandemic [popn.redn.]to be ignored until its too late? - only the corporate wealthy Elites group, the ones who tell Bush what to do. (ya know, "they").]
Thats just one aspect of this, they make money at every turn. Pre-pandemic, they sell Tamiflu and vaccines... Post Pandemic [successfull] they will have a concentrated wealth and power that is unimaginable by anybody. A small group will control in a much more dominating manner than we have now.
Oh ya, they want more control that they have now, which is allready gone overboard for a democractic and free people. Too much freedom, too may who don't believe in our god, they all gotta go except for a labour class.

I could be eating CROW after this, if this news is not just another farce, or created episode. I hope the crow isn't infected with H5N1 virus!!
Thailand has just reported, after I posted the above about the threat being over for this year based on migrations of birds, that the H5N1 bird flu virus has infected a family there.
One family all got it, and some died. This could indicate human-to-human transmission, meaning a genetic change has occured in the virus.
There have not been any further infections reported from Thialand, now about 5 days after that family got hit. That indicates that it isn't the start of a pandemic, or even a local outbreak. It might indicate that this family was infected by someone, on purpose, to keep the fears of bird flu alive.
The motivations are evident - a few people like Rumsfeld will make a lot of money from Tamiflu. Vaccines against it are profitable too. Maybe it is just propagandist preparation for when they release the man-made pandemic virus upon the human race, so they wil have an excuse, and so the general public may believe it is the naturally occuring virus we have been watching recently.
