48 Hours Post-Mirena...

Well, I had it removed on Monday and my husband can see a difference already! Perfect timing for valentines day! It didn't hurt a bit (thank god), and I didn't even have any spotting. The only thing I'm concerned about is that the night before it was removed, we had sex without protection and then it was removed, and then I found out I was ovulating probably that day or yesterday... Anyways, we'll see what happens! Since Berlex doesn't seem to know how it works, who knows what affect it was having on my cycle!

My doctor (different doctor than the one who inserted it) said I should refrain from hormonal birth control for 6 months... Did anyone else's doctor tell thim this? His rational was that I needed to wait for several months and get used to my body again to make sure that none of the symptoms were from something else. Looks like we'll be using condoms for a while!
