Sun/Wrinkles/Sunscreen

Well... I just looked at the label on the sunscreen that I've been using for a couple of years and discovered that it contains titanium dioxide, dimethicone, and parabens. Harmful ingredients which I did not know about when I originally started using this particular product a couple of years ago.

Now, I know MH says the sun is good for you. And from what I've been reading on this forum and elsewhere, skin cancer is caused by a combination of sun and acidity in the body. Remove the acidity, and you will not get skin cancer from the sun.

However, how does one avoid wrinkles??? Is that also caused by the combination of acidity in the body and sun? Would it be true to say that a person on a pure diet of fruits, distilled water, herbs, would never get wrinkles even if they sunbathed every day?

You know, I have to wonder if the harmful ingredients in my sunscreen cause just as many wrinkles and skin problems as sun damage.

When I was in high school, my family did not have money and therefore (unlike many spoiled youth these days) I was never able to buy makeup or face wash or moisturizer. The only thing that ever touched my face was warm water from the shower. That's it. I had BEAUTIFUL skin back then. I didn't even realize it and I never appreciated it as much as I should have.

Now I have bad wrinkles under my eyes, small bumpies that can't be seen unless you're really looking but because I scrutinize myself I know they're there, and a light patchy redness all over my face. Yes, I can use powder to even out the redness, but then I discovered that it has titanium dioxide and dimethicone in it. It's called mineral makeup and I thought that was supposed to be better for you than the crap you purchase at department stores.

I guess it is all crap.
