Re: Sun/Wrinkles/Sunscreen

The main factor in regards to whether a person will burn or not, is the amount of melanin in their skin pigment. Of course, the amount of time you spend in the sun too. Like my brother is quite a bit fairer skinned than i, and susceptible to sunburn. Also, if you've ever received a major sunburn, for whatever reason, this makes your chances of obtaining skin cancer more likely. (The more major sunburns, the higher the likelihood.)
When I was younger, I was a sunworshipping fool. No sunscreen, no hat. I even lifegarded full time. After awhile it caught up with me. Sunscreen on my face bother me. It will invaribly burn my eyes, even if it's hypoalergenic.
I always wear a hat. Or if i'm lying out, I'll put a small towel over my face, with maybe a little sunscreen on lower part of my face, neck and body.
I've been doing the hat wearing for years, and generally not sunning as much as I used to. And I have been pleased with the results. Stay away from alcohol and smoking though. Those are big time wrinkle makers!!
