Re: Suggestions on ways to improve chelation of Thallium?

I'm sorry to hear about your health struggles.

You are taking many things containing sulfur that will kick up heavy metals but taking few antioxidants that protect you from the mobilized HMs without kicking up very much of them, for example vitamin C and vitamin E.

Does thallium bind well with selenium? Se binds well with a number of the HMs. While bound to Se the HM is not doing its typical damage, however it leaves less Se for converting thyroid hormones, etc.

I agree about lipoic acid. It is a two edged sword. It can move mercury across the blood brain barrier--in BOTH directions! This is Andy Cutler, PhD chemistry, explaining this issue in the context of a study on mice.

Taking ALA, cilantro and other things that kick up HMs can be devistating to some people. These are a couple of posts from members of the old Yahoo detox support groups.

This is cutler's book on Thallium I have the hard copy so could answer questions.

Which test suggested that you have a thallium problem?

I suggest that you check out Cutler on the issue of mobilizing HMs too aggressively. Your symptoms suggest that you may be doing just that.
