A bit of an update... I drank a glass of 3 squeezed lemons to see if it gave me a reaction and it didn’t so that tells me it was the olive oil. I then assumed it was maybe a food or preservative I’m loads of foods that I’m constantly eating, maybe salicylates for example. But I kind of ruled that out as I don’t get inflammation or any swelling after I chew chewing gum for like half an hour (lots of salicylates). I feel like I only get a swelling reaction after I eat hot cooked foods but I don’t know whether it’s just the amount of food rather than the type but I really don’t know. Maybe I’m allergic to oil and it’s used in a lot of meals which explains why my condition has never really changed over 3 years. Maybe it’s possible I have multiple intolerances that I’m constantly eating. I think I’ll try a diet with only a few foods to begin with then add slowly.
